National Consumer Cooperative Bank is a U.S. Government chartered corporation organized under the National Consumer Cooperative Bank Act in 1978 and privatized in 1981 as a cooperative financial services company. 

NCB’s affiliate and subsidiaries include:

  • NCB’s nonprofit 501(c)3 affiliate, NCB Capital Impact, provides innovative community lending, technical assistance, public policy support and development services.  The affiliate legally changed its name from NCB Development Corporation, effective October, 2006.
  • NCB, FSB is our federally chartered thrift subsidiary. The thrift provides mortgage banking services as well as deposit products and cash management to NCB’s national customer base.
