Corporate Responsibility at NCB

“In these tough economic times, NCB and NCB Capital Impact remain committed to our mission, to utilize cooperative principles to provide solutions to empower America’s underserved communities.”

Through NCB’s Mission Banking initiative, we direct resources from across the NCB Financial Group with a very specific goal – to help underserved communities help themselves. Working together with our nonprofit affiliate, NCB Capital Impact, we continued to make strides in communities delivering $391 million in 2009 to benefit low- and moderate-income communities and our cooperative expansion initiatives.

In addition, we are proud to have implemented a sustainability program that encourages employees at work and in their private lives to follow eco-friendly practices to help preserve the environment.

Spreading the word about how cooperatives lead the way in fostering a more responsible America is a key Mission Banking objective for us. The leadership role cooperatives serve is demonstrated by their accountability and responsiveness to their members and communities alike.
